About Community Spirit
The Goodwin Realty Group proudly launched the first edition of Community Spirit's Magazine and hosted Community Spirit's inaugural FREE Family Event in April 2010. With a passion to see their long-standing business successes deliver tangible value to its local community, the Goodwin Group was humbled by the support of Community Spirit's Principal Sponsor Partners in 2011: Telstra Clear, Genesis Energy, and Dulux.
On the 31st of October 2011, the Restoring & Developing Community Spirit Charitable Trust (2554518) was incorporated. The two Founding Patrons, chosen for their integrity, dedication to community service and connection with the greater Mt Albert community are Alice Wylie and Sir Arthur Harold Marshall, (KNZM, FRSNZ, FNZIA, FRAIA).
Communities are about connections, and through 'Community Spirit', it is hoped to mobilise local people to participate in and care for their local community, to re-ignite conversation, and to celebrate local successes.
Thank You & How to Get Involved
The Community Spirit Team thank you for your support during 2011. Our FREE local events highlighted the 'want' across our neighbourhoods to meet, connect, and enjoy time in our local parks! 4 new editions of our FREE magazine allowed our contributing writers to share ideas and to educate and inspire our readers. We particularly thank our sponsor partners and, look forward to developing our Programme into 2012.
